inspired by the work of the american artist jackson pollok, i decided to adapt parts of his technique and bring it to a 3D shape. in line with the so called methods »action painting« or »dripping«, the selected objects were treated like a canvas with a stick and acrylic colors. but my lack of concentration held me back from completely copying an artist whereas my imagination encouraged me to re-think and connect my work to other things from my life. exploding balloons which were filled with paint replace stick and hands. the random result is the product of different physical laws. power, mass, gravity and time lead to a combination of color with abstraction while the contrast of the inescapable perception which is determined by the form of the object is being charged.

inspiriert von der arbeit des amerikanischen künstlers jackson pollok, adaptierte ich teile seiner technik und übertrug sie auf das dreidimensionale. ähnlich wie die methode des sogenannten »action painting« oder auch »dripping«, behandelte ich die objekte wie jackson pollok seine leinwände. allerdings führte meine mir angeborene, sprunghafte konzentration dazu, dass ich nicht einfach nur kopierte, sondern meine lebhafte fantasie weiterentwickelte und so ersetzte ich stock, pinsel und hände durch mit farbe gefüllte luftballons. das daraus zufällige produkt spiegelt verschiedene physikalische gesetze wieder. kraft, masse, schwerkraft und zeit führen zu einer kombination von farbe und abstraktion, während wiederum der kontrast zur gesteigerten aufladung der wahrnehmung der gewählten objekte führt.
